The Gateway Elite Club is our most advanced program we offer and includes all seasons of training, league game play, one summer camp, and tournament opportunities. Our teams compete regionally and nationally at various tournaments throughout the year. In 2023/24 the the Elite teams earned over 50 first place finishes at tournaments. Gateway Elite Club is for players looking to elevate their individual and team game to the next level in our U8, U10, U12, U14, U16, and U19 divisions. We have a robust and competitive elite club program with multiple teams and coaches in all the age divisions. We welcome players to join Elite Club during the summer for the upcoming year.
Registration Dates
Elite Club registration is open two windows per year...
Winter registration period - Late January - March 1 (To begin play in the spring)
Summer registration period - Late May - July 15 (To begin play in the fall)
All players that registered in the winter do not need to register again. They are already included for the 2024/25 year through the winter season.
Registration is for the entire year as we do not offer Elite Club seasonally.
Evaluation Days
Evaluations are ongoing throughout the summer at Gateway camps, elite clinics, and summer academy.
For the fall season, which includes U14, U12, U10, and U8, the main evaluations will take place the first two weeks of the season.
For U16 and U19, athletes will be evaluated during the summer and in November for the 2024/25 winter and spring season. HS athletes play with their HS teams during the fall season and we look forward to seeing their development.
The athletes selected for the National Field Hockey Festival (over Thanskgiving) will be notified by July 1 and they will be placed on a team which will be their team for the fall season.

Elite Premier programs will be offered at various times throughout the year and include clinics, small group lessons, technique and tactical training, additional team training, etc. Elite Premier is open exclusively to Elite Club athletes and does incur additional fees but is completely optional and not required. Some Elite Premier programs are open to everyone in Elite Club and others are geared towards specific ages and/or teams.

Fall Practice Information
Practices run from mid/late August through mid/late October (9 weeks) at Sportport. Exact start and end date will be announced soon. These practice times are pretty set, but may differ slightly based on number of teams.

All Elite Club players play in Gateway League on teams with other Elite Club players. Please see the Elite Club Guidebook with how league teams work for each age division.

The Gateway Elite Club teams play in numerous tournaments throughout the year. Some tournaments are selection or invitation based and others are open to all teams. Pretty much all Gateway Elite Club teams play in local tournaments.

2024/25 Elite Club Fees
- U19 - $950 - Rising Juniors and Seniors
- U16 - $950 - Rising Freshman and Sophomores
- U14 - $1175 - Rising 7th and 8th Graders
- U12 - $1175 - Rising 5th and 6th Graders
- U10 - $1175 - Rising 3rd and 4th Graders
- U8 - $1025 - Rising 1st and 2nd Graders
- Reminder that club fees include one summer camp (for summer of 2025) which is valued at $185.
- $20 late fee after July 15
Important Notes
- High school athletes do not participate in club during the fall season because they are playing with their school teams. This is why their fees are lower.
- We do not prorate for missing summer camp as it is a valuable piece of summer development and evaluations for the next year.
- Elite Premier and tournaments are not included in the fees because they are optional.
SUMMER CAMPS
One 2024 summer camp is included for all year round Elite Club members that registered in the winter of 2024.
One 2025 summer camp is included for all year round Elite Club members that register in the summer of 2024.
Session 1: Mid June (In 2024 camp is June 10-13)
Session 2: Late July (In 2023 camp is July 29-Aug 1)
Athletes can register for the additional camp for $125.
UNIFORMS AND APPAREL
After you register for Elite Club, you can order your uniform. Please order your uniform by July 1st.
