The Gateway Elite Club is our most advanced program we offer and includes all seasons of training, league game play, one summer camp, and tournament opportunities. Our teams compete regionally and nationally at various tournaments throughout the year. In 2024 the Elite teams earned over 50 first place finishes at tournaments. Athletes must be experienced, committed, and have game understanding to join club. We have a robust and competitive elite club program with multiple teams and coaches in all the age divisions. We welcome players to join Elite Club before the start of the spring and fall seasons.
Registration Information
Elite Club registration is open two windows per year...
Winter registration period for a SPRING start
Open January 15 - February 25
Last day for Early Bird Registration - February 10, 2025 - Save $30!
Raffle for "free fees" held on Sunday, February 16 (must be registered by Sunday, February 16 at noon to be included in the raffle)
Summer registration period for a FALL start
Open July 1 - August 15
Notes:
- HS athletes not already registered, may register up til October 15, 2025 during the fall registration period.
- Registration is for the entire year as we do not offer Elite Club seasonally.
Elite Club Evaluations
Evaluations take place primarily at the beginning of the club season which is detailed below. Tournament teams can change depending on availability, number of players on the field, and needs of the teams.
For U8, U10, U12 and U14 the main evaluation is in late August before the fall season. An additional less formal evaluation will occur in late February during regular practices.
For U16 and U19, the main evaluation is held in early November right after the high school season ends. An additional less formal evaluation will occur in late February during regular practices.

Summer - All club members receive one camp with their membership and there are additional offerings during the summer. Rising 9th-college athletes receive Stride during the summer months as well, which is a fitness and stick skills session.

Elite Premier programs will be offered at various times throughout the year and include clinics, small group lessons, technique and tactical training, additional team training, etc. Elite Premier is open exclusively to Elite Club athletes and does incur additional fees but is completely optional and not required. Some Elite Premier programs are open to everyone in Elite Club and others are geared towards specific ages and/or teams.

Important Notes
- High school athletes do not participate in club during the fall season because they are playing with their school teams. This is why their fees are lower and 8th graders are accounted for in their U14 fees.
- We do not prorate for missing summer camp as it is a valuable piece of summer development and evaluations for the next year.
- Elite Premier and tournaments are not included in the fees because they are optional.

The Gateway Elite Club teams play in numerous tournaments throughout the year. Some tournaments are selection or invitation based and others are open to all teams. Pretty much all Gateway Elite Club teams play in local tournaments.

SUMMER CAMPS
One 2025 summer camp is included for all year round Elite Club.
Session 1: June 16-19
Session 2: July 28-31
Athletes can register for the additional camp for $135 if they would like to attend both.
We do not offer prorated for camp if an athlete cannot attend.
SPRING PRACTICES/GAMES
All teams will meet twice per week, once for a weekday practice and then athletes will play in games on Sundays.
U14, U16, and U19 will play full field games with their elite teams on the weekends.
U8, U10, and U12 will practice with their elite teams and play games with mixed teams to create growth and equal competition.
Additionally, Elite Premier is open to some age divisions to provide and optional but extra practice per week.

U8 - Tuesdays - 5-6pm
U10 - Tuesdays - 6-7:15pm
U12 - Wednesdays - 6-7:15pm
U14 - Two slots depending on your team
- Mondays - 6-7:15pm (Green, Yellow, Pink, and Purple)
- Thursdays - 6-7:15pm (Red, White, and Blue)
U16 - Three slots depending on your team
- Mondays - 7:15-8:40pm (U16 Yellow and U15 Yellow)
- Wednesdays - 7:15-8:40pm (U15 Blue, U16 Blue, U15 Green, U16 Green)
- Thursdays - 7:15-8:40pm (U15 White, U16 Red, U16 White)

UNIFORMS AND APPAREL
After you register for Elite Club, you must email Lynsey@gatewayfieldhockey.com to get a # assignment. After you have this you can order your uniform. Please order your uniform asap!
